Straightening is being reached not due to content of harmful preservatives in the sort of formaldehyde and methylene glycol, but due to maximum number of different types of natural keratins. There can be a light odor while blow-drying hair. In this case, if the professional composition of Amazonliss causes a light skin itching or odor (people with allergies), it is better to wear a mask.

Any professional procedures should be carried out in well ventilated spaces. We recommend to blow-dry hair using a cold mode. While working with a straightening iron, our keratin doesn’t evolve any odor.

HOW MUCH OF AMAZONLISS KERATIN SHOULD ONE PUT ON HAIR?

It is difficult to determine a particular amount of product usage, individual approach for each model must be taken into account. On average usage is as follows: 30 ml for short haircuts, 40 ml for medium-length hairstyles and from 50 till 100 ml for a long hair. It is important neither to economize keratin nor to supersaturate it. Use fine-tooth comb for a smooth laying of the product.

DOES AMAZONLISS KERATIN INCLUDE FORMALDEHYDE?

Nutree doesn’t include formaldehyde.

FOR WHAT HAIR TYPES IS AMAZONLISS KERATIN APPROPRIATE?

Amazonliss keratin is appropriate for all hair types (thick, thin, straight, curly, frizzy etc.)

It straightens even African hair type. If you have brittle and dry hair, or your hair suffers from static electricity, or after any traumatic manipulations, Your choice is Amazonliss keratin.

IS IT IMPORTANT TO AVOID CONTACT OF AMAZONLISS KERATIN WITH SKIN? 

Yes, it is important to avoid contact of the product with skin and neck. If a model has a sensitive skin, the skin area contacted with the product may be a bit itched. In order to prevent its contact with skin, one should apply the product on an entire hair and avoid covering roots. Don’t apply the product in those parts of head where hair lies in direct contact with skin.

MAY AMAZONLISS KERATIN STRAIGHTENING BE APPLIED ON HAIR EXTENSIONS AND AFTER CHEMICAL STRAIGHTENING?

Yes, Amazonliss procedure may be carried out on hair extensions and on the hair that was straightened in a chemical way.

DOES THE AMAZONLISS PROCEDURE HAVE A CUMULATIVE EFFECT?

The procedure has a cumulative effect. That’s why the more procedures will be conducted, the more beautiful and shining your hair will look, herewith a result will have a much longer effect.

WHAT ADDITIONAL ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR STYLISTS-BEGINNERS WHO APPLY AMAZONLISS KERATIN?

Blow-dry hair under medium temperature (cold air is better). You may alternate between cold and warm temperature. Direct an airflow on the opposite side from model’s face.

Avoid contact of keratin straightening product with skin.

Don’t leave strands applied with the product (keratin) on a client’s face even if those strands are dry.

Apply the straightening product on the entire hair length. Don’t apply it in excess. The main thing is that the entire strand should be covered with the product. Use a fine-tooth comb. At the same time, you shouldn’t economize the product.

While using a straightening tool (an iron) make minimum 10 quick repetitions for 350°F-400°F (180°C — 200°C), and minimum 6 quick repetitions for 400°F-450°F (200°C — 230°C).

Hair tips should be quickly straightened maximum 3-6 times. 

HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD STRAIGHTEN EACH STRAND WITH IRON?

Straightening should be started from the back of the head, after dividing the hair into smaller strands. To make it more convenient, remaining strands should be clipped to the back of the head and then gradually get each one. Flat iron should move from the 1-1,5 inches from the roots to tips, at least not less than 7-10 times. 7 times for hair tips and 10 times for the rest of the hair strands. Tips are usually more damaged part of the hair follicle that is why it is important to treat it gently.

HOW TO REDUCE ODOR AND FUMES DURING THE KERATIN TREATMENT PROCEDURE?

The procedure should be carried out in a ventilated. During the procedure, it is recommended to ventilate the room or to use an air conditioner. If during the keratin straightening process there a lot of smoke, it usually means that you have applied too much keratin. Keratin solution must be applied without excess, it should be very well distributed, use comb to apply evenly and remove excess solution.

If you have keratin dripping on the floor that means you have applied too much product. Another way to check: after applying keratin solution, twist hairs in a lock, if you see keratin smoothing treatment come out, that means you applied too much. Use the comb to remove excess. Having too much keratin on the hair creates unnecessary smoke and also use solution that could be applied at some other time or on another client.

IS IT SAFE TO COLOR AND DO A KERATIN TREATMENT IN THE SAME DAY?

It is best advised to color/dye your hair before the Amazonliss keratin smoothing, because during the procedure you add and seal the keratin in the hair, you preserve and protect the pigment after coloring, so the color lasts longer. Dye your hair should be 2 weeks before the procedure, or if you really want to color afterward 2 weeks after the smoothing treatment. Keratin hair straightening improves the overall health of bleached/colored hair, it conditions them, seals the cuticle and protects the hair color. DOES THE KERATIN TREATMENT CHANGE HAIR COLOR?

When working with cold, gray and pearl shades of blonde is very important to follow two rules. Firstly, you need to make sure you have no keratin left on after the treatment. Secondly, before flat ironing, the hair should be thoroughly dried at 100%. Do not leave wet strands or tips. If you do not follow these rules, then the cold, gray or pearl shades of blonde during ironing will change its color to yellow or yellow-orange.

Be especially careful you have to be previously bleached, and then colored into a darker tone, hair. They can become much lighter. In other cases, no significant lightening.

CAN KERATIN TREATMENT CLOSE THE SPLIT ENDS?

The answer is yes. Split ends can happen for a variety of reasons, long hair strands are especially prone to it due to lack of nutrition. Typically section exposed long hair, because they, for whatever reason, the power is lacking.

CAN PEOPLE WHO PREVIOUSLY USED RELAXERS APPLY KERATIN TREATMENT ON THEIR HAIR?
