How To Add More Volume To Your Hair
2. Dry your hair properly. It is easy to create voluminous hair if you blow-dry it properly. In order to do this, you need a round hairbrush (better made of natural hair) and a standard attachment for a hairdryer, which is usually sold with a blow dryer, but for some reason we never use it. Dry your hair with warm, not hot air. Take a section of hair at the roots and gently wrap it around the brush. Start drying by lifting the roots and constantly rotating the brush. After drying the strand, leave the brush in your hair for a minute. When your hair has cooled down a bit, remove the brush and move on to the next section. Drying this way will give your hair the desired volume.
1. Use a styling spray. A spray for root volume can be easily found in almost every haircare product line: it doesn’t weigh down or stick the hair. In order to add volume to your hair, apply a spray after shampooing and evenly distribute it over the entire length of the hair. The product will lift the roots and prepare the hair for further blow-drying.
3. Make a layered haircut. A cascade haircut is a great choice if you want to visually add volume to your hair. Strands of different lengths will make your hair look more voluminous. Besides, such a haircut is simple to style: you just need to blow-dry your hair with a round brush in order to style such a cut.
