A Guide to Dry Hair Treatment

Dry hair is one of the nastiest hair types that causes many problems. Lots of women just don’t know how to make such hair shiny and obedient. In today’s article, we will give you a mini-guide to dry hair treatment. Let’s go!

First of all, how can you know that your hair is dry? Well, if your hair is dull and brittle and it doesn’t become greasy for more than 5 days, it belongs to dry type.

Hair becomes dry when the skin doesn’t produce enough of its natural moisturizer - sebum. Dry hair is easy to break with even simple brushing, so it’s important to use the correct shampoo and do it in a proper way.

We recommend you wash your hair no more than two or three times a week. It‘s necessary to apply not the shampoo itself, but the shampoo foam, whipped in your palms. It is important to rinse your hair with cool, not hot water: the hair cuticles will close, and the hair will lose less moisture and become smoother.

It’s useful to use conditioners and balms after each shampooing. They replenish the lack of moisture and protect fragile strands from the adverse effects of the environment: wind, snow, sun, dry air, wearing hats. A leave-in conditioner is perfect because it takes care of your hair longer.

Don’t rub your hair with a towel and wrap your head in it - just slightly dry the strands with it. It’s better not to use a hairdryer after washing your hair. We recommend you use it only for styling at a minimum temperature. Make sure to apply a thermal protection product.

A nourishing hair mask is one more secret of dry hair care. Use it twice a week after washing off the shampoo. We recommend using shampoo, a conditioner, and a hair mask of the same product line.
